GZP dual -plate check valves are manufactured to the latest edition of API 594/API 6D and tested to API 598.All valves from GZP VALVE are strictly 100%tested before shipment to guarantee zero leakage.
Dual-plate Check Valve is also called reflux valve, backpressure valve and one way valve. This type of valves is opened and closed by the force of the flow of media through the pipe. It's an automatic valve. They are widely applied in petroleum, chemical, textile, power, marine, metallurgy, etc.
Dual-plate Check Valve is made up by body, plate, stem, and spring etc. Use wafer, flange, lug connection. Because its structure length is shorter than the general check valve, it is most suitable for places with limited installation space. Plate has short closing stroke with can significantly reduce water hammer pressure.
The main construction features of GZP Dual-palte check valve are following:
1. Single plate and double plate design are available.
2. The sealing surface can be surfacing wear resistant material or rubber lining.
Surfacing welding is carried out in strict accordance with WPS standard, After surfacing welding, the welding surface shall be heat treated, machined, thoroughly cleaned and inspected before assembly.
3. Dual-plate check valve is small in size, light in weight, compact in structure and convenient in maintenance.

Standard vs. Retainerless Body Designs
Our Dual Plate Wafer Check Valves are available in two different body styles鈥擲tandard and Retainerless. Both versions have the same performance, dimensions, and ratings. In all dual plate check valves, the center pin (off which the discs rotate) and the limiter bar (which prevents the discs from hitting each other) need to be affixed to the valve body. In a standard body style, the result is a penetration through the body wall. In a retainerless design, a sleeve is inserted into the inside of the body, thus avoiding penetrating the body wall. This makes retainerless style valves particularly desirable and applicable for critical Hydrocarbon and Chemical processing applications, or any service where environmental safety or fire hazards are concerned.
